Super Bowl XXXIX
Last Week: 0-2 (1-1 o/u)
Season: 140-119-7 (128-125-4)

New England (-7.5/47.5) at Philadelphia

Donovan McNabb and Jake Delhomme are anything but similar. McNabb was a first round pick while Delhomme had to fight to make a roster as an undrafted free agent. Both players, however, faced the same challenge entering the biggest game of their lives: taking down the mighty Patriots.

Last year, Delhomme and the Panthers were told they should just be happy to be playing in the Super Bowl. Enjoy the experience and maybe take a real shot at the Lombardi trophy after the Patriots dynasty was finally over. Then something crazy happened to the Patriots on their way to the podium. Carolina didn't just show up, they gave New England everything they could handle and if not for another clutch kick by Adam Vinatieri, we might be talking about one of the greatest upsets in Super Bowl history.

A year later, McNabb and the Eagles find themselves in the same situation. After finally getting over the NFC Championship hump, the feeling around Jacksonville is the Eagles have succeeded simply by getting this far. All of the Philadelphia players are saying the right things, but does anyone really believe this game is anything more than a formality?

Watch out. Something crazy might happen to the Patriots on their way to the podium. A game could break out.

Eagles and the over
